London's only Relais and Chateaux hotel member boasts 56 individually designed bedrooms, including 22 suites in a historical building comprising four Victorian townhouses that were built by Lord Chelsea in the late 19th Century.
In April 2021, this was added to with 6 luxe-contemporary apartments in an equally beautiful Victorian terracotta townhouse that is separated from the hotel by the private Cadogan Gardens. Each apartment expands across an entire floor and offers one, two, or three bedroom accommodation - ideally for families and those looking for longer stays at an exclusive London address.
Guests enjoy an array of public areas to relax and unwind in, and with each space so unique and welcoming, sometimes the choice is not always easy. For those in search of 'al fresco', a mid-morning coffee on the Terrace must be considered. The Drawing Room with its open fire is perfect for a traditional afternoon tea experience, while those in search of a classic cocktail will want to head for the Chelsea Bar.
The hotel's restaurant and all-day eatery, Hans' Bar & Grill, is not to be missed either as it has quickly become a Chelsea village favorite. From here, guests can step onto the pedestrianized Pavilion Road - a stunning and vibrant London destination that is exciting locals and visitors alike with its artisan food, beauty and fashion stores, and various other restaurants too.

Our hotel is truly boutique; 34 rooms, 22 suites, and now 6 new apartments, with no two that are identical. The one thing they all do have in common is that they are fabulous in their own individual ways.
The Victorian architecture provides the rooms with period features, high ceilings and a wealth of natural light through bay windows; also on offer are luxurious and flamboyant suites, and luxe-contemporary apartments that are ideal for extended stays.
Superior Queen Room
Superior Rooms are perfectly formed at 18 square meters and lack none of the 11 Cadogan Gardens’ charm and elegance. Furnished with a Queen-sized bed, these rooms are ideal for business stays, providing everything you could desire at the end of a taxing day. Complimentary WiFi connectivity, bottled mineral water, and a Nespresso machine can be found in the room.
Deluxe King Room
With 23 square meters of space, Deluxe King Rooms are perfect for shopping breaks and city stays for couples or friends. Located just a stone’s throw from Chelsea’s bustling Sloane Square, Hans’ Bar & Grill offers an oasis of calm, nestled amongst the artisanal shops and food suppliers of the picturesque and pedestrianized Pavilion Road. The perfect place to relax into brunch, drop by for a quick super-food salad lunch, or cocktails followed by dinner and excellent wine. On offer are seasonal al a carte menus, daily specials and Grill Nights- rooted in British produce and underpinned by classical cookery skills.
The Chelsea Bar
For a restorative cocktail after a busy day exploring the boutiques of Chelsea and Knightsbridge, there’s no greater setting in which to indulge. Our bar is unashamedly moody and seductive, with a dramatic color palette of gold and charcoal. It is a theatrical setting in which to kick back, entertain and be entertained. In mid-2019, we relaunched The Chelsea Bar based around a Negroni menu.
