Dating back to the 17th-century, Cour des Vosges Paris is a hush-hush hideaway for those seeking gastronomy, history, or just a respite from the city. With a vibe that feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel, you’ll find 12 butler-serviced rooms and suites featuring exposed beams, stainless steel accents, and a gallery-worthy collection of artwork. There’s no formal restaurant or bar. However, the Tea Room offers light gourmet fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a patisserie serving ultra-decadent pastries and desserts.
Renaissance grandeur beckons within each of the 12 luxury apartments. A mixture of 17th-century splendor and 1970s design, rooms feature old terracotta, azure tapestries, reimagined four-poster beds, candelabra lamps, books and statues alongside stainless steel tables, a glass bar counter and brass basin. Windows overlook the tree-lined square, enveloping you with natural light.

All 12 rooms at Cour des Vosges, ranging in size from 258 to 541 square feet, were decorated by Lecoadic & Scotto, who have created quite an unusual atmosphere: a discussion between eras where contemporary design meets period objects and references. Original beams, terra cotta floor tiles—here, the authenticity and spirit of the location are preserved and respected.
Superior Room
Staying under the rooftops of Cour des Vosges has an almost Bohemian feel to it. Whether it’s the staircase—the elevator doesn’t go to the top floor—the exposed beams, the wooden framework, the low ceiling in the hallway, or the interior shutters, the charm of living under the rooftops of Paris is overwhelming, taking you back to bygone eras and the history of a neighborhood you suddenly see from on high. In this 258 sq. ft. (24 sq. mt.) room decorated by Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto, your gaze can extend all the way to the angel keeping watch over place de la Bastille. The king-size bed is embellished with a folding screen covered with fabric to make a one-of-a-kind headboard. Stretch out and relax on the couch and take in a novel from the bookshelf. The bathroom, with exposed beams reaching all the way into the shower, also features a bathtub and Guerlain toiletries. To this is added a walk-in closet to store your clothing, TV, and separate toilet.
Deluxe Room
This superbly intimate deluxe Parisian room boasts a view that stretches far beyond the place des Vosges. Your eyes skip along zinc and slate rooftops to the bronze angel atop the column at place de la Bastille. Every detail of this deluxe room was designed by decorators Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto to give you a taste of French art de vivre, beginning with the selection of novels, coffee table books, works of art, and other curiosities that bring the shelves, tables, and every nook and cranny to life. To this is added a walk-in closet in the entryway, a king-size bed accented by a stainless steel headboard, a bathroom with a naturally lit shower and bathtub overlooking the places des Vosges, and a separate toilet.
Superior Suite
An authentic Parisian apartment, the Superior Suite features a kitchenette with an oven, dishwasher and induction hobs. The decor combines 17th century and 1970s artwork. Guests can enjoy a view of Square Louis XIII, Place des Vosges. There is a king-size bed and a bathroom with a spacious shower and Guerlain toiletries.
Deluxe Suite
With an amazing view of Place des Vosges and benefiting from a 5-meter high ceiling, this Deluxe Suite combines contemporary style with artwork from the 16th century. The king-size bed has a steel canopy and the bathroom provides a shower, bath, Guerlain toiletries and separated toilet.
