The courtyards are made of lava stones and river pebble pavers; stones from the old mansion are left exposed in several areas for everyone to see. A carefully and elegantly restored 19th century Sicilian house surrounded by a 10,000-square-meter garden which is home to over 5,000 varieties of the most stunning Mediterranean and sub-tropical plants, whose citrus along with olive groves constitute one of the largest plant nurseries of its kind in Europe.

It is the ideal refuge for those who want to live and intimate experience with nature in total privacy and absolute tranquility.
Grand Suite with Private Pool

The Grand Suite with Private Pool is located on the highest point of the Resort and has a breathtaking view of the sea and Mount Etna. The suite has a private entrance, 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one living room with electric hob, and the indoor design and luxury comfort are embellished with the outdoor heated Jacuzzi overlooking the entire resort from the 150-sqm terrace, in which is possible to organize private and special dinners on request.

Meanwhile, in the vaults of the Wine Cellar, you can request treasures from award-winning wineries the world over, as well as the best from around the region. A careful selection and production of prime quality ingredients for our two menus: one typical Sicilian and one gourmet to delight every taste. Donna Carmela’s extensive wine list, elegantly stored in a glass cellar, give you the opportunity to taste the best of Etna and Sicily and to sip the story of our excellent red Pietradolce Archineri and Etna Rosso Vigna Barbagalli.
