Sitting on Easter Island with its enigmatic, ancestral energy and historic civilization shrouded in mystery, Nayara Hangaroa offers guests a chance to discover the island.
The architectural conception of Nayara Hangaroa constitutes a tribute to the ceremonial village of Orongo, whose remains are still found on the heights of the Rano Kau volcano at its west summit. Our green roof resembles the roofs of this village, and the buildings are connected through gardens.
The colors and textures of our rooms blend with the environment and pay tribute to this mysterious and ancient culture.

Accommodations
All 75 rooms have been designed by Chilean interior designer Paula Gutiérrez showcasing locally made handicrafts to exude the island's magical energy. The rooms prioritize natural light and materials such as cypress logs lining the ceilings, clay-soaking tubs, and volcanic stones framing the beds and bathrooms. The rooms intentionally lack televisions to intensify the sense of disconnection and the wonder of Rapa Nui.
Kainga (Earth)
With an open floor that signifies the wideness of the ocean, the Kainga room merges the island’s unique geography with local culture. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite the light and sounds of the waves to interact with the decor. Cypress logs, clay and volcanic stone are some of the noble and natural materials that offer immersion into the Rapa Nui culture.
Maunga (Mountain)
Built on two levels, our Maunga room is the perfect space for families. The open floor concept and floor-to-ceiling windows invite light and allow you to enjoy magnificent views of the ocean while listening to the sounds of the waves. A private outdoor terrace lets you appreciate the natural beauty of the Island.

Poerava
With an indoor and al fresco area, Poerava is open for breakfast and lunch. The spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from the terrace complement the traditional Rapa Nui and International cuisine. Ceviches, carpaccios and stone-cooked tuna are some of the typical dishes highlighted on the menu. Chilean wines are showcased on the wine list, and guests can enjoy Wine Pairing dinners and taste and sip the best from some of the wineries on the South American continent.
Kaloa Lounge
The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxed and Kaloa has become a gathering place for both hotel guests and local visitors given its lounge-like atmosphere and endless sunset views. This is Hangaroa’s romantic venue to enjoy cocktails while the sun goes down on the ocean. The fare is surf and turf.
