Welina Terrace
Known for the best sunset on Kaua’i, an oceanfront restaurant, bar and lounge with a locally sourced, modern Japanese menu to share family-style: nigiri, sashimi, and tabletop Hibachi, envisioned by Chef Misao Masuda and paired with a selection of 26+ sakes, Japanese whiskies and beers, organic, sustainable wines, and craft cocktails. The Sandbox
A poolside, ocean-facing retreat with sweeping views of Hanalei Bay and a menu of locally sourced, classic Hawaiian beach food. A perfect gathering spot for families to gather, lounge, share a meal and take a dip in the pool.
Featuring light daytime dishes, (like poke bowls, fish tacos and BALTS on locally baked bread), a wood-burning pizza oven, and keiki menu (for your minis.) Beverages are designed for poolside lounging, with craft cocktails made from 50+ agave spirits, frozen drinks, locally sourced beer, cider, kombuchas, and low-ABV seltzer.
Our focus on sustainability includes reusable, stainless steel glassware, takeaway containers composted by our local friends at Heart & Soul Organics and additional efforts to protect our island and surrounding waters.
Kai Maika'i
A serene refuge by our adult infinity pool with spectacular views of the ocean, lush mountains and tropical flora. Offering a menu of craft cocktails, succulent snacks, and a curated selection of local beer, kombucha and low-ABV seltzer. Designed to refresh body, mind and soul.
Lunch is centered on light, nutrient-rich dishes, (think bowls, salads and wraps) to have in the restaurant or poolside on Kai Maika’i’s Terrace. (Drop by on Sundays for live DJ beats.)

A classic Hawaiian treat that’s worth relocating for — enjoy shaved ice made with locally crafted syrups from our friends at Slow Island Co., as well as ice cream and natural toppings. Level up your shaved ice with single-batch local rums and zero-proof artisan syrup, plus coconut water straight from the source, Hala Kahiki cocktails served in fresh local pineapples, and a poolside boutique with merch like sunscreen, sunglasses, and plenty of gear for fun in the water.
