Palazzo Portinari Salviati was formerly home to Beatrice Portinari, Dante’s Muse, and later the residence of Cosimo I, Grand Duke of Tuscany. The Palace did not assume its current architectural form until 1456, when it was bought by Jacopo Salviati, husband of Lucrezia de' Medici. The charm of its history, the exquisite frescoes and the exceptional location, with three sides overlooking the most central streets of Florence, as well as a breathtaking view of Brunelleschi's Dome in Piazza Duomo, make it an unparalleled venue.
