Embracing a respectful approach to cooking based on heritage recipes, our menu in Straits Kitchen showcases a melting pot of cuisines from Singapore's many cultures. Traders and neighbors have been bringing ingredients into Singapore through the Straits of Malacca, resulting in a palette of eclectic flavors reflected in our colorful and exciting dishes.
Using purely Asian ingredients, sourced and grown locally in the UK to minimize our carbon footprint, the team is headed up by Executive Chef Lorraine Sinclair and Singaporean Group Executive Chef Tony Khoo – both of whom bring authentic flavors to the table.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant features floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the Plaza, while two private dining rooms enable guests to enjoy a selection of set menus to suit all tastes and occasions.
Orchid Lounge
Relish in the ritual of afternoon tea in The Orchid Lounge, a sumptuous and serene drawing room evoking the timeless glamour of tradition. Award-winning Executive Pastry Chef Cherish Finden curates seasonal collections with a twist not found anywhere else in London. Cherish will bring her unique flair for Asian flavors to the traditional British tea with the Singaporean-inspired Kopi Tiam, celebrating bao, dim sum and choux. Pan Pacific London’s Afternoon Tea will be accompanied by the finest teas from the Rare Tea Company and introduced to guests by a dedicated Tea Connoisseur, as well as champagnes and world-renowned English sparkling wines.
